Besides having one of the busiest Emergency Departments in Canada, the program has a strong teaching commitment - educating future healthcare professionals and providing high quality continuing medical education. Other events organized annually include the Emergency Medicine Update (EMU), Emergency Department Administration Conference (EDAC) and ACLS courses.
